Australia’s butter shortage

We love it with our vegemite toast, it’s a staple ingredient in pastries, but the much sought after butter is facing some challenges. Global prices have gone up 60% and its popularity continues to increase in Australia and around the world. Business owners say a 25kg box of butter cost that cost them $120 18 months ago, now costs $300. So we will we see a domino effect and what is causing the butter price hike? Dairy Australia analyst, John Droppert joined us.
