Since their debut in 1996 with the seminal record ‘Tigermilk’, Belle and Sebastian have steadily solidified their place as indie royalty.

The band boasts an amazing discography that continues to grow in size and stature, with legendary records such as 1998’s ‘The Boy With The Arab Strap’ and 2003’s ‘Dear Catastrophe Waitress’ up to and including their twelfth studio album from 2023, the critically acclaimed ‘Late Developers’ a record that introduced even more audiences around the world to the wonder that is Belle and Sebastian.

Belle and Sebastian will be in town soon, playing at the Enmore Theatre on Thursday 22 August with Badly Drawn Boy. Stevie Jackson, who has been with Belle and Sebastian since the very beginning, joined 2SER Breakfast for a chat.
