With Vivid getting ready to light up the night here in Sydney, we’re all on the look out for live music shows and what events will be shaking up the city over the coming weeks as the nights have gotten longer and the days colder.

Ben Marshall, Head of Contemporary Music at Sydney Opera House, joined Stuart Coupe on Dirt Music to chat about the lineup for Vivid Live: a series of music performances at none other than Sydneys Opera House in collaboration with Vivid Sydney.

The two also spoke about planning such a large scale event and the rising decline in outdoor festivals.

Ben Marshall has curated the event for 9 years running, bringing internation acts such as The Cure (Disintegration 30th Anniversary), Solange, Ice Cube plus groundbreaking Australian artists including Genesis Owusu and Hiatus Kaiyote and many more.  The 2024 lineup is stacked with talent including artists we love to spin on 2SER such as Devonte Hynes, Fever Ray, Alduous Harding, Bumpy, Maple Glider, Zion Garcia, VvPete (and many others too!)
