Last Sunday, thousands of Australians from across capital and regional cities attended Invasion Day, also known by some as Survival Day, to acknowledge the Aboriginal Day of Mourning.

But communities also attended celebratory events focused on positive aspects of the day..

Perth’s Birak Survival Day concert saw thousands gather to commemorate the continuation of Indigenous culture.
