Marvel Studios’ new entry within their cinematic universe Black Panther has been released with universal praise as the first movie in the franchise to embrace an almost completely black cast. It is the largest film on this scale to celebrate such a diverse cast. With it’s recent box office success we have with us Victoria Ekwughe (Ek Wa Hay), a PhD Candidate (Social Science) in the UTS Faculty of Arts and Social Science to discuss the impact a film like this can have.
