Black Saturday survivors demand safer and renewable energy

Black Saturday bushfire survivors are calling the government to implement safer and renewable energy.

It has been 15 years since the catastrophic fires in regional Victoria, where 173 people lost their lives and more than 2000 homes were destroyed.

The Wire’s Vanessa Gatica speaks with Serena Joyner Black Saturday survivor and CEOof Bushfire Survivors for Climate Action, about the need for greater investment in solar and wind power.
