Blue Carbon Projects: Labor’s Ocean Oriented Approach to Climate Action

When it comes to actual climate action it’s safe to say Australia is pretty late to the game. But since the last election the new government has been making a whole bunch of new climate progress promises. 43% emission reduction, protecting 30% of our land and ocean by 2030, but what does it all mean? A big part of Plibersek’s plan to safeguard ocean health is the establishment of several new Blue Carbon Projects.
