Blur – To The End and Live in Wembley
A new documentary chronicles the return of one of Britain’s biggest rock bands Blur who after a lengthy hiatus last year recorded a new album The Ballad of Darren. The end result is the doco Blur – To The End that provides us with a fly on the wall perspective of the reunion of one of Britain’s most iconic, idiosyncratic bands, as we see whether the band can reignite the magic that took the world by storm as they embark on a tour culminating in a recorded Wembley performance. The documentary explores the members of Blur confronting middle-age and follows the relationships of the different band-members of one of Britain’s most iconic, idiosyncratic bands.
Stephen Hill talked to the film’s director Toby L to talk about Blur: Live in Wembley that will be screening at the British Festival until December 8
