Book club this week is Siang Lu’s The Whitewash. It’s a mockumentary-style look at Asian representation in cinema.
Andrew definitely recommends all the books sent through but this one is seriously fun and funny whilst also highlighting an important issue around who gets to be on the big screen.
It has a companion website called The Beige Index that rates the level of representation for IMDB’s top-rated films
