Bots meddling in elections and ‘the megaphone effect’

In the digital age most of us have social media, with that can come random fake accounts, or bots, requesting to follow you. If you’re anything like me, you probably just thought they were harmless, but it turns out they’ve given way to new form of propaganda in the political realm, computational propaganda.
