You typically fork out big bucks for a bridesmaid dress that you’ll never wear again. It’s part of this current “fast fashion” culture of wearing something once, or seasonally, and then throwing it away.

But what if there are bridesmaid dresses designed, intentionally or not, to be worn again?

Jordana Sexton, International Sales and Brand Director at Australian label Bec + Bridge, spoke to Tess about their new wedding edit that includes dresses you’ll just want to wear again and again – and again. She says the brand saw a huge gap in the market for chic bridesmaid dresses with flattering silhouettes, and what they’ve realised since the edit’s successful launch is that some “girls were actually buying these dresses to wear to events other than weddings”.
