Bringing “cli-fi” to the small screen

“Cli-fi” – or climate change fiction — is a growing genre of stories inspired by the real and troubling science of climate change and how it is impacting ecosystems and human societies. Last week, a group of scientists, screenwriters and TV producers got together at the Australian Film, TV and Radio School to discuss how new “cli-fi” content could be brought to the small screen.

Tess was joined by the brainchild of the “cli-fi” forum — marine ecologist Dr. Adriana Verges from the University of New South Wales.
