Bringing Climate Change science to life through Art
The weight of scientific evidence underpinning the reality of human-induced climate change is immense and ever-growing. For many of us however, climate change data often feels too complex or too overwhelming for us to fully comprehend.
This is where artists play an important role. Nic talked with Dr Lisa Roberts- an artist, interactive author and Associate Researcher from the UTS Faculty of Science. Dr Roberts transforms complex scientific data into works of visual and performance art as part of the ongoing Living Data project, exploring the ways in which both scientists and artists respond to the shifting patterns of our natural world.
