Bushfire royal commission report recommends better building planning decisions

Last summer’s bushfire season was one of the worst in our history with over 24 million hectares of land burnt with 3000 homes destroyed. The royal commission into those bushfires has found that the massive loss of buildings is the result of planning decisions to build properties in bushfire prone areas.
