Flickerfest

Flickerfest is one of the main festivals on the international circuit. Both filmmakers and film lovers consider Fickerfest to be the leading Australian competitive short film festival.

Flickerfest began as a small, local event at Balmain High School in 1991. It has  since grown. Now it is Australia’s leading Academy® accredited and BAFTA recognised competitive Australian and International Short Film Festival.

Thousands of filmmakers from around the world – including local talent – enter Flickerfest each year.
