Bye Bye Manly Sea Life Sanctuary
For 50 years Manly Sea Life Sanctuary has been home to some of Australia’s beautiful marine life, including some of the world’s most endangered animals. Sadly, due to the building’s age and structural condition the aquarium will be shutting its doors early next year. Approximately 2800 animals and 40 staff members will be relocated. Nic spoke with the aquarium’s Life Science Manager, Rob Townsend, to discuss how the animals will be transferred, and whether the Rescue and Rehabilitation programs will continue in Manly.
