Cambodian factory owning US$1.4 million in severance payments
Most Australians are enjoying the Women’s FIFA World Cup, bringing the first female soccer event happening across Australia and New Zealand.
But last Sunday, a protest happened outside Melbourne’s Federation Square to demand the sports brand Nike to pay more than 1200 women garment workers in Cambodia their severance payment, equivalent to US$1.4 million dollars.
