Can a degree guarantee a job?

With the end of jobkeeper last Sunday, lowering unemployment rates has been a mission of the government for the past year. However, studies of unemployment trends in Australia has revealed that nearly 1 in 4 unemployed people have a degree. Furthermore, graduates have found that full time employment is increasingly unattainable straight out of university with students particularly from arts, humanities and psychology degrees having even greater challenges. So is there any guarantee for work in today’s climate? Are degrees pointless?
