Can There Be Life on Venus?
Up until recently, there has not been much focus on Venus as a vessel for life, however, this week scientists announced a discovery that could uncover potential signs of life in the atmosphere of the planet. Phosphine, a biochemically occurring gas was discovered in Venus’s atmosphere and could spark a new surge of interest for exploration to the planet. Associate Professor Bruce Schaefer from Macquarie University talked to Sean on the Daily about the implications of the discovery and what it means for the future of space exploration of venus.
