Can women afford to live alone?
Living in the City is hard whether you are a man or a woman, the cost of living is at an all time high. But, according to an opinion piece in the Guardian, women are doing it harder, and most single women find it incredibly difficult to have the luxury of living by themselves. This is because professions that are typically female dominated are unfortunately, low paying professions; professions such as nursing, and childcare, care work and community work. Van Badham, Opinion Writer at The Guardian and co author of the article joined The Daily to discuss this further.
