The race to replace Boris Johnson is heating up, with as many as 11 candidates declaring their interest in the leadership.

The nominations to be the new leader are set to formally open today, with the first eliminations set to occur by the day’s end. It is expected the new British Prime Minister will be announced on September 5, once the voting process for the new leader of the Tory Party is over.
