CARE Reports A Lack Of Care
It’s safe to say that 2017 was an intense year in politics and international relations all around the world. Tensions escalated in North Korea and the conflict in Syria intensified to an extreme degree.
One thing that goes by the wayside with such intense geopolitics at play is the plight of people on the ground in nations directly or indirectly affected by decisions made sometimes thousands of kilometres away.
That is the contention of a new report from humanitarian organisation CARE International, who have highlighted 10 humanitarian crises which were underreported in 2017. Rachael Routley, is an aid worker at CARE Australia and she joined us now on The Daily.
