Cashless debit card needs to wisely be scrapped

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese will keep its election promise to abolish cashless debit cards for jobseekers in some regional areas.

The idea is similar to the debit card in the UK, where refugees are the most affected.

The debit cards have been in the spotlight since the program started, showing disadvantaged Australians are the most vulnerable, such as First Nations women.
