Challenges remain for sexual offence victims in court
For 40 years, lawmakers across Australia have advanced legislative reforms to improve the experience of victims in sexual offence trials.
While some reforms have been effective, a study undertaken by the University of Wollongong and University of New South Wales found various court procedures still yield negative experiences for complainants.
