CHICAGO is returning to Australia, and for those who don’t know, it follows chorus girl, Roxie Hart, through murder, imprisonment and deception. With book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb, this multi-award-winning musical provides satirical commentary on the criminal justice system as well as the sensationalisation of criminals in the media through iconic choreography and music.
Asabi Goodman joins Eleanor in a chat about the show, her role as Matron “Mama” Morton, and her previous career as an engineer.
