Child protection workers on industrial action
This week, child protection workers in New South Wales started an industrial action at the State Parliament because they claim the system is broken.
Workers in the sector are overworked and understaffed, but the most affected ones are vulnerable children, where three out of four were reported as at risk.
The Public Service Association is also demanding a roadmap to avoid a catastrophe across the state’s sector.
