Is your child young enough to be sexist?

Children are more perceptive than you think and by age three they already understand that there are differences between the genders. But just how much does this influence their perception of not only of themselves, but of their friends and the world around them? Despite a parent or guardian’s best attempts to provide an unbiased environment, children can pick up the subtleties of our interactions. So can your four year old be sexist? Kimberley Norris, Lecturer in Psychology from the University of Tasmania joined Breakfast to discuss that possibility.
