With the US-China Trade War as a backdrop, Australia is in a unique position where both countries heavily influence our economic and political decisions. Recently, universities have been reviewing research partnerships with Chinese state-owned companies, after an emerging link to technology that was used to carry out mass human rights violations by the Chinese Government.
