Cinema VS Streaming Services

Going to the movies has been a popular activity since the early 1900s. However, ever since television became accessible to the general public in the 1950s, it has drawn moviegoers away from the cinema and to their couch at home. This has marked the exponential decline of movie theatres. More recently, streaming services have had this same impact, leaving theatres deserted.

Are filmmakers and audiences meant to save cinemas or fully embrace streaming services?
