Climate Impacts in the New Dietary Guidelines

Official dietary advice in Australia is set to warn of the climate impact of certain foods. The new Guidelines will soon recommend foods based on more than their nutritional value, providing consumers with environmental information for sustainable food choices.

The Daily’s James Murray spoke with Dora Marinova, Professor of Sustainability at Curtin University, to discuss The National Health and Medical Research Council‘s Dietary Guidelines and how we inform our decisions about what we eat.
