Proposed Nuclear Power Plant sparks opposition from Lithgow community

An Independent MP says there is a “rising tide of anger” in his community, after the Coalition announced plans to build a nuclear power station there.
One of seven reactors to be built around the country, under a Coalition government, would be located on the site of the current Mount Piper coal fired power station near Lithgow, in the New South Wales Central West.
