Coco Jack Gillies on the New Australian Film ‘Ruby’s Choice’
Compassion, hope and family bonds are the key messages highlighted in the new Australian film Ruby’s Choice — directed by Michael Budd and written by Paul Mahoney.
Starring two-time Golden Globe winning actress Jane Seymour, the film tells the story of an elderly woman Ruby who struggles with undiagnosed dementia. After accidentally burning her house down, she is forced to move into her daughter’s house Sharon and share a room with her granddaughter Tash. As family secrets are revealed, Tash goes from hating her to developing a close bond with her grandmother.
The film is set to hit cinema screens across Australia on the 3rd of March, 2022. Daily host Oscar Byrne spoke to Coco Jack Gillies who plays Tash to discuss her role in the new film.
