Improv Theatre Sydney is holding their annual Comedy Festival again, which means four glorious nights of stand up, sketch comedy, improv and musical performances. This year, the line-up includes performances such as The Newlyweds, Aussie Soap Opera from the ITS ensemble, Confetti Gun, Elevator Music and stand up from Bec Melrose and Matt Okine. 

2ser spoke to Marcel Blanch-de Wilt and Kate Coates from Improv Theatre Sydney about the festival and the art of improvisation.

The Improv Theatre Sydney Comedy Festival will be on from Wednesday 27th November to Saturday 30th November at both the ITS school in Redfern and at the Giant Dwarf. All tickets and info can be found online at the theatre’s website, or from the Giant Dwarf’s website.
