With the turn of the new year, The Independent Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission has been established in wake of a series of scandals involving the mistreatment of elderly persons in aged care facilities.
With over 5000 complaints made by aged care consumers horrified by the current state of the complaints regulatory system, shocking findings have placed pressure on officials to address and discuss the issue of Australia’s aged care system.
