Community Backlash against Police in Terrigal
Terrigal is a small, beachside suburb of the Central Coast but a recent attack by youths on the Korean owners of a local shop has disturbed many locals. The attack left the immigrant owners hospitalised and has since put the shop up for sale. Locals are particularly outraged the fact that no charges have been put against the offender; From Terrigal, local writer Nikki McWatters discussed the incident and the impact on the community that this attack had; and joined us on The Daily.
