Community Garden At Holsworthy H/S
There’s no doubt that food plays a big role in our daily lives, it sustains our bodily functions, brings us pleasure and enhances culture. It may also provide a perfect backdrop for coming together, as a community to grow and harvest fresh produce. A modest grant from Liverpool City Council has made it possible for Holswothy H/S and its P&C to partner with SCRAP Ltd, in order to facilitate an organic living skills program called Table to Table, where students learn the practicalities of organic gardening within the context of sustainable outcomes.
