COVID-19: Two years into pandemic

Today marks the second anniversary of COVID being officially declared as a pandemic by the World Health Organisation.
More than 3 million Australians have contracted the virus during this time, and more than 5500 Australians have died.
While in 2020 we did not know a lot of the virus, now there’s some information about how the virus works, but we still do not know a lot about it. What have we learnt from it?
