Crackdown on P plate drivers in NSW
Is it fair for the newest road safety measures to target P plate drivers? In December, P plate drivers will be banned from using mobile phones, even if those on hands-free or speaker mode. P plate drivers suspended for speeding or other unsafe driving will also have their provisional licenses extended for six months. So will the crackdown on new drivers lower the number of fatalities on our roads? To find out more, we were joined by Russell White, Founder of the Australian Road Safety Foundation.
