Illustrated cards depicting words related to personal and medical care, activities, feelings and more have been created by Dementia Support Australia for First Nations people experiencing severe dementia.

The culturally sensitive designs include images of yarning, bush tucker, and weaving alongside doctor, happy and washing, to ensure people who are no longer able to verbally communicate their needs are able to stay connected with their carers and family.
