Curtis Harding – Style and Soul
Curtis Harding was born on the move. Reared on a diet of Mahalia Jackson and Mavis Staples, he learned to sing and play drums in church. But it was his sister’s collection of hip hop tapes that would change his life.
On the eve of his only Australian shows as part of the Wanderer Festival, 2SER Breakfast catches up with Curtis to talk koalas (spoiler alert: he’s down to meet with one), rap tapes, sloppy soul and style.
