Cyber attack on political parties by ‘sophisticated state agent’

Earlier this week, Scott Morrison announced that the three major parties had been subjected to a cyber attack from, what he called, a ‘sophisticated state actor’.

The attack has raised questions about the vulnerability of our parliamentary information systems and had some bracing for an attempt to influence our upcoming Federal election.
