Cyclone Idani Causes Mass Devastation

Cyclone Idai has ripped through Southern African countries – Mozambique, Malawi and Zimbabwe, claiming over 750 lives and leaving an estimated 2 million people affected.

As rain continues to fall and waters rise, infrastructure is being severely damaged, and search and rescue operations are being hindered as hundreds more are feared to be dead.

To speak to us about the situation is Oxfam Australia’s programs director, Anthea Spinks who has worked on previous flooding responses in the same region.
