Dairy farmers fear retrospective price cuts
Global dairy markets around the world have been thrown into chaos, as milk companies respond to an international over supply, as well as a decline in demand. Big processors Murray Goulburn and Fonterra have announced price cuts that will have significant implications for Australian dairy farmers. Even more concerning for the industry is that these price cuts could be applied retrospectively.
