Dairy Megatrends: Is Synthetic Milk The Whey Forward?

Milk. You probably drink it every day, in your morning mug of coffee or cup of tea. For most people, that milk comes from the udder of a cow. But your choice of milk might be plant-based, like some of us here at the Friday Daily. (We’re partial to oak, almond, and soy!) But now there’s a new kid on the block: synthetic milk. Today, we chatted about synthetic milk and more with Milena Bajovic: a PHD candidate here at Macquarie Uni, and co-author of a new study about megatrends in the global dairy sector.
