Sydney’s favourite sons Dappled Cities have been making music together for yonks. Their first record Smile came out way back in 2004 and since then they’ve been making wonderful, wonky pop.

After a number of records and touring both here and overseas, in 2014 they put out a collection of B-sides and rarities and then went quiet. A couple of members sprang up with solo releases. BUT the good news is that they’ve been working on a new record. It’s set to come out later this year and tonight you can hear a taste of this new stuff. They hit the stage at the Newtown Social Club.
