Defence White Paper Eyes China

When it comes to relations with China, the adage is to aim for the best possible scenario and plan for the worst. The 2016 Defence White Paper is looking at a rise in military spending and keeping a careful eye on China’s aggressive expansionist stance in the Asia-Pacific Region. Sean Britten spoke to The Daily’s regular security correspondent Dr Julian Droogan from the Department of Policing, Intelligence and Counter Terrorism at Macquarie University.
