Deliveroo leaves Australia due to economic challenges
Deliveroo’s exodus from the Australian market has left thousands of gig economy workers at a loss, less than a month from Christmas.
With little to no warning, Deliveroo ceased trade, removing their app and official website access in Australia citing ‘challenging economic conditions’
With alternatives such as Uber Eats and Menu log seemingly functioning as normal, there is speculation as to the future economic stability of other food delivery apps.
