Election day has traditionally been associated with the humble sausage sizzle, now affectionately known as the ‘democracy sausage’, but there are many versions of this humble delicacy and how do you know your local polling booth will even have a BBQ?
Luckily, the Internet saves the day again with websites such as democracysausage.org and the Twitter handle @auspolling, which will tell you where you vote and what food is available!
