A device that knows when you’re stressed

When you’re stressed, whether that be from work, family troubles or a busy schedule, we often shake  that stress off as natural and try to get over it.

But shrugging off your experience of stress can lead to further health complications, including high blood pressure, heart disease and obesity.

However, product design honours student from the University of Technology Sydney, Caroline Vasta, is trying to identify stress early and has designed SkinSense, a wearable stress detector for your wrist.

And it’s the identification of stress, Caroline says, that can be harder than you might think.
