Dictionary of Sydney: Napoleon’s Harpist

In Camperdown Cemetery, there is an intriguing altar tomb with a statue of a kneeling figure i front of a tree and a harp. In this Dictionary of Sydney, Nic spoke to Lisa Murray about how this impressive tombstone was erected by a dedicated student to her music teacher, Nicholas Bochsa, who happened to be the one-time harpist to none other than Emperor Napoleon.
